About us
The only orphanage in Montenegro
The orphanage is run by the state but needs donations and volunteers to meet children’s individual needs and help them prepare for adulthood.
We run the organization Riznica Mladosti, where the purpose is to help the children in areas where the orphanage is not enough.

Often the children say “I don’t know, I can’t do it”. In psychology, it is called “learned helplessness” and to change that we provide resources and extra support for the children.

ABOUT US
The children need love, care and stimulation
In 2010, I was given the opportunity to start a charity with the aim of helping the orphanage in a more structured way. A board and a network of people were formed, who in different ways contributed their time and their skills to lay a good foundation for this work.
GOAL
Promote intellectual, social and emotional understanding
In our work we see the children as resources and focus on the positive in the development. Our overall goal is to promote intellectual, social and emotional understanding and to develop children's communication skills. Many of the children have special needs, which are often interpreted as "problems" and that is why our efforts become extra important.
